Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

Celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with a quintessentially English event and join in the fun at Harewood! Enjoy classic best of British food at the Courtyard Café with a BBQ, Pimms, strawberries, Jubilee cupcakes and games in the Courtyard too. Have a picnic and watch the events in London unfold on our very own big screens on the north lawn.
To make a day of it, you'll just be in time to enjoy our Royal Harewood exhibitions, including photographs by Royal photographer Marcus Adams of Her Majesty The Queen from babyhood to motherhood.

Sunday 3rd June - Special Events
On the Sunday there will be extra events taking place throughout the day. From 12 noon two floats created by local groups will be displayed outside the house and LA Classique Majorettes will be marching down to the house with music and a decorated London bus. Leeds Concert Band will be performing from 11am-3pm on the north lawn and Canoldir Choir will be performing 1pm-1.30pm in the house or courtyard (weather dependant). To top this all off Wharfebank Brewery will have a real ale bar from 11am-3pm situated on the north lawn and if you can prove you’re over 60 you can enjoy all of this for free!
