Our Wedding Venues & Grounds....

The Courtyard

The Grade 1 listed, converted

stable block is a unique venue that has been restored to its original splendor and will create a dramatic enclosed theatre for your day. With both ample indoor and outside space, the Courtyard is a wonderful location for both summer BBQ’s and Christmas themed dinners alike.

The Courtyard can seat up to 120 guests for a sit down meal or Civil Ceremony and 200 plus for an informal buffet.

The Pavilion

The newly extended, elegant and modern Pavilion is a fantastic location for larger weddings with its high ceilings, ivory draped walls and cut glass chandeliers. The Pavilion directly faces Harewood House and has windows running its full length ensuring each of your guests will have a picture perfect view.

The Pavilion can seat anywhere between 120 and 650 guests for a sit down meal.

The Terrace

Which ever location on the estate you select as your wedding destination the stunning restored Victorian Terrace on the south front of the house is available for your reception. Not only do you have the house as a back drop and the beautifully restored Italiene Parterre but you can host canapes and a drinks reception and remain with your wedding party while your photography is underway. Create stunning visual memories either in this crafted ‘Capability’ Brown garden or at any other location on the estate.

The Grounds

There are several locations around the Harewood Estate that are perfect for your wedding photography. In particular as mentioned, the Terrace on the south front of the house is perfectly suited. However, your options range from the serene to the exotic; the beautiful lake with its’ resident flamingos, the adjacent waterfall or the new Himalayan Gardens to name but a few of the choice locations. It’s difficult to imagine more romantic or varied landscapes to capture the beauty of your day.

Blessings in All Saints Church

Nestling among the trees to the north of Harewood House is All Saints Church. Dating back to the 15th century, and with access to both of our venues, this beautiful Church is the perfect location for a blessing in front of your friends and family.

Please note that a blessing alone is not a legal ceremony so you may also require a civil ceremony which can be held in one of our Courtyard Suites.

There is also a small fee for the use of the Church which goes directly to the Churches Conservation Trust and aids the maintenance of this magnificent building.
