This season the ante room houses a small exhibition of Childhood at Harewood.
For generations children have lived, been schooled and grown up at Harewood. This display was inspired by the rocking horse (made in 1917) which previously belonged to the present Earl in the 1920s when he was a boy.
On display are a small collection of toys and books belonging to the current Earl and his children exhibited alongside a series of portraits capturing the many children who have lived here over the last 240 years.
