Little remains of the Dining Room designed by Adam the ceiling having been raised and the room deepened in the 1840s by Barry, abolishing at the same time an arched recess. Chippendales' fine dining room chairs now flank a Victorian dining table. Against the south wall are the superb sideboards and the urn-topped pedestals made by Chippendale. The portraits are mainly pictures of the owners of Harewood and their wives, with the exception of the current Earl of Harewood.
