    Harewood House
Home to the Earl and Countess of Harewood, the House boasts breathtaking interiors by Robert Adam, exquisite Chippendale furniture and outstanding Art collections from Renaissance masterpieces to Turner watercolours and portraits by Joshua Reynolds.
You can now take a peek Below Stairs too, explore the Servants’ Hall and corridors, the restored Old Kitchen, Scullery and Still Room, discovering how the servants lived, worked and serviced this great Yorkshire Country House.

Lord Harewood’s mother, HRH Princess Mary, the Princess Royal, lived at Harewood from 1930-1965; Below Stairs includes new displays of her wedding dress and bouquet plus several family photograph albums for you to browse through.

Enhance your visit by making use of the free audio guided tour.

More information on Harewood House is available in our Tour of the State Rooms

    Glorious Gardens
Group visits include the chance for your guests to walk around Harewood's beautiful landscaped gardens.

Harewood’s gardens are a delight all year round – from the blankets of daffodils in the spring, to the lakeside rhododendrons in June and the sumptuous sub tropical Archery border through summer and autumn. Plus the fabulous colours and shapes of the Parterre Terrace with its 20,000 seasonal bedding plants, changed 3 times a year! All set in a Capability Brown landscape.

Private tours led by the Gardening Team are available - please enquire.
FREE Garden 'Talk and Walk' – Thursdays at 2pm.

More information about the Gardens at Harewood House is available in our Tour of the Grounds & Gardens
